StartSomeGood
Have a great idea, but need some help getting it off the ground?  If you’re not a 501(c)3, chances are you can’t apply for grant money.  And if you’re not an “official” organization, you probably won’t receive a loan.  So how can you find funding to start some good?

Consider peerfunding, where a group of passionate people help your project with financial support.   To begin, share your story about the change you want to make on StartSomeGood.  Create a short video telling your story and what you hope to accomplish.  Rally some supporters through social media and have friends tell their friends.
Once your campaign is approved and the word is out, anyone around the world can chip in to help you reach your goal and can stay connected on your progress.  If you’re having some trouble defining your idea, start by visiting their site to view current campaigns.  It may provide the inspiration you need to create your own campaign or you may see one that you want to support.  Either way, it makes starting some good a community effort so you’re not going it alone.
