Shorten a web address

Have you ever tried to send a link, or received one, that wrapped around in your email address? Whether you’re the sender or the recipient, it can be frustrating to try to click and paste a really long web address from the email to an address bar.

One solution for this is TinyURL. TinyURL allows you to enter a long domain name, which will automatically be shortened. The result will be with “xxxxx” being a mix of numbers and letters that TinyURL provides. You can also try to select a custom name. For example, I wanted to use “nptech” instead of what TinyURL provides for the “xxxxx” portion of the name. So, if you come to this blog, you can use instead of Try it out!
